Yucatán, from 2024 to 2027
No state turned out in greater numbers than Yucatán for the 2024 federal deputy vote: 72.3% of registered voters cast a ballot, 11.8 points above the national average. Along with Oaxaca, it is also the only state where every federal district, six in this case, is classified as Indigenous.
Morena's share of the valid vote was 42.4%, and the PAN's 33.0%, its fourth-best result in the country; no other party reached 10%. The PRI gathered 8.5%, the Greens 5.9% and Movimiento Ciudadano 5.3%, one of its two lowest shares, while the PRD did not exceed 1.0%. In districts, Sigamos Haciendo Historia won five of six, and Fuerza y Corazón por México took district 4, one of the three seated in Mérida, by 23.7 points; the capital's other two, districts 3 and 6, went to Morena's coalition. Every margin exceeded ten points: the narrowest was Valladolid (1), at 10.6.
Yucatán's 2027 ballot leaves out the governorship but includes its 106 municipal councils and 35 legislative seats, along with six federal seats. As blocs, the Fuerza y Corazón por México parties drew 42.5% in 2024, the fifth-highest share in the country for that alliance, against 52.2% for those of Sigamos Haciendo Historia. Its electoral roll stood at 1,843,256 in October 2026.
