Sinaloa, from 2024 to 2027

In Sinaloa no federal district was decided by less than 20 points in 2024. All seven ended up with Morena or its coalition, and Fuerza y Corazón finished second in every one: 20.7 points behind in district 6 (Mazatlán) and 51.1 behind in district 4 (Guasave), the two extremes. In two of them, Ahome (2) and that same district 6, Morena ran without the PT or the Greens and won on its own; the other five, including both Culiacán districts, went to Sigamos Haciendo Historia.

By party, Morena kept 53.3% of the valid vote; only in Tabasco and Baja California did it do better. The PRI, second with 13.3%, edged the PAN (12.4%) by less than a point. Further back were the Greens, at 7.6%, and Movimiento Ciudadano, at 7.1%; the PT got 4.7% and the PRD, about to lose its registration, 1.6%. Some 56.0% of the roll turned out, one of the seven lowest rates in the country.

Besides its seven federal deputies, Sinaloa votes in 2027 for governor (residents abroad included), for the 40 members of its congress and for 20 municipal councils. The state keeps Mexican Pacific time (UTC−7), like Sonora and Baja California Sur, and by number of voters (2,412,867 on the October 2026 list) it sits mid-table among the 32 states. District 6, the closest race of 2024, is one of the two seated in Mazatlán.
