Cookie Policy

Last updated: 24/10/2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device (computer, tablet, cell phone) when you visit them. They are used to remember your preferences, keep your session active and improve your browsing experience.

2. Which cookies do we use?

We use technical cookies, which the site needs, and, only if you accept them in the consent panel, analytics cookies (Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited). Advertising cookies (Google AdSense) are only set on pages with ads, and also only with your consent.

Technical cookies (necessary)

They are essential for the site to work and do not require your consent:

Name Provider Purpose Duration
afinidad-politica-mexico-session Afinidad Política Keeping your progress in the test and the language you choose. It is only created when you start the test or change the language 2 hours
XSRF-TOKEN Afinidad Política Security: protects forms against CSRF attacks 2 hours
ps_consent Afinidad Política Storing your cookie consent preferences 6 months

3. Analytics cookies (optional)

Only if you accept them, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) to find out how many people visit the site and how they use it. We have limited these cookies to 13 months, and they are not extended on later visits:

Name Provider Purpose Duration
_ga Google Analytics Distinguishing visitors for usage statistics 13 months
_ga_X90B1CPT0M Google Analytics Maintaining the Analytics session state 13 months

Change your preference

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. The “Cookie policy” link at the bottom of every page brings you here:

4. Legal basis

Technical cookies are exempt from the requirement to obtain consent because they are strictly necessary to provide the service you request. This is provided for in Article 22(2) of the LSSI, the Spanish law on information society services, which applies to this website because its controller is established in Spain, and which transposes Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC. Analytics cookies and, if there is advertising, advertising cookies are only set with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the “Reset cookie preferences” button. Refusing is as easy as accepting, nothing from Google is loaded before you accept, and your choice, whether you accept or refuse, is kept for 6 months, after which we ask you again.

Mexican law does not require prior consent for cookies, but it does require you to be told about them in the privacy notice: which cookies and similar technologies collect data, what data they obtain, what they are used for and how to disable them. This page, to which the privacy notice refers, provides that information, and our consent panel goes further than Mexican law requires.

5. How can you manage cookies?

You can set your browser to reject cookies. However, this could affect how the test works (for example, your progress would not be saved).
